If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude. Don't complain.
I don't need much to make me happy. All you can give is all that I need.
You cannot simply have me. You must seek me, pursue me. I won't let you in unless I know you love me.
To realize the value of 10 years, ask a newly divorced couple. To realize the value of 4 years, ask a graduate. To realize the value of 1 year, ask a student who failed the final exam. To realize the value of 9 months, ask a mother who gave birth to a new born. To realize the value of 1 month, ask a mother who gave birth to a premature baby. To realize the value of 1 week ask an editor of a weekly newspaper. To realize the value of 1 hour, ask the lovers who are waiting to meet. To realize the value of 1 minute, ask a person who has missed the train, bus, or plane. To realize the value of 1 second, ask a person who has survived an accident. To realize the value of 1 millisecond, ask the person who has won a silver medal in the Olympics. No matter the amount of time, it will pass you by in ways you will never expect; good or bad so value it always -- just in case.
I hate losing him. I hate getting told I deserve better, when I don't want better.

Beauty is judged by the size of your heart, not the size of your jeans.
When I first met you, I never thought we'd make it this far. We made it pretty far. I didn't think you'd be the one.
You won't become successful by complaining that life is unfair. Certainly there are many injustices in the world, yet you won't get anywhere by using those injustices as excuses. Your best response is to work over, under, around and through them. Accept the fact that life is unfair, and choose to experience outstanding success anyway. It is admirable to fight against injustice. But fighting against injustice may very well make that injustice even stronger. A better way to end injustice is to make it irrelevant. When you create ways for yourself and others to succeed in spite of unfair circumstances, then you render those circumstances powerless. The world is filled with inequity and unfairness. And yet, there are always plenty of workable and creative ways to rise above those negative circumstances. When something in life is unfair, choose to succeed anyway. And make that unfairness so small and insignificant it won't even matter. -- Ralph Marston
I snuck out to see you and we kissed in the moonlight, and that night we decided to be friends who did a little more. I realized something, you do care about me. You do have feelings for me, but there’s one thing stopping you. And baby, I’m sorry but that one thing, it’s unchangeable. It’s unchangeable, and it breaks my heart.
You’ve changed me, you turned me into someone who isn’t afraid to disobey her parents, someone who isn’t scared to take a little risk. You changed me into someone who takes nothing for granted and laughs at the world. You changed me into someone I always wanted to be, but just didn’t know how.

Nobody really cares if you're miserable, so you might as well be happy.
“We who lived in concentration camps can remember the men who walked through the huts comforting others, giving away their last piece of bread. They may have been few in number, but they offer sufficient proof that everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms -- to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way.” --Viktor Frankl
Just to say I love you never seems enough. I've said it so many times. I am afraid you won't understand what I really mean when I say it. How can so much feeling, so much adoration, possibly fit into those three little words? But until I find some other way of saying how I feel, then "I love you" will have to do. So no matter how many times I say it, never take it lightly, for you are my life, & my only love. I love you more now then I ever did before.
I let myself inhale every last bit of your cologne and wipe away the tears that will continue until you come back home.
Is she your life? The one you'd die for? The one you love with all your heart? Is she the apple of your eye, the reason you wake up each morning, the one who is perfect in your eyes? Is she your princess, the one you go out of your way to please, the one you don't deserve? Does she realize how fortunate she is, how unworthy she is? Do you realize how foolish you are? A few short months ago I was your life, the one you'd die for, the apple of your eye, your princess. Does she realize how little time she has, is she grateful for all that you do? Is she aware that at any moment of any day, you might break down her thrown and have her come tumbling down? Does she realize she took my place?

But at a certain point the memory of him stopped accompanying me everywhere I went. He stayed behind, the way a city stays behind as a train pulls out of the station. It's there, somewhere behind you, and you could go back and make sure of it. But why should you?
It is often hard to bear the tears that we ourselves have caused. --Marcel Proust
Just because you are happy with him doesn't mean you can't be happy without him.
“He's close to my mother, talks business with my father. He's charming and endearing and I'm comfortable... But I miss screamin' and fightin' and kissin' in the rain. It's 2 AM and I'm cursing your name. You're so in love that you act insane, and that's the way I loved you. Breaking down and coming undone, it's a roller coaster kinda rush. I never knew I could feel that much, and that's the way I loved you.” – Taylor Swift
As for me, to love you alone, to make you happy, to do nothing which would contradict your wishes, this is my destiny and the meaning of my life. -- Napoleon Bonaparte
